William M. Ladd, Esq.

Attorney Ladd has been practicing law in New Hampshire since 1977. After winning two challenging NH Supreme Court cases for a Nashua law firm, he opened his own practice in Hollis in 1978. A few years later he relocated his office to Milford and has since served the greater Milford community in the practice of general law. Attorney Ladd was largely responsible for eliminating the fraudulent use of nominee trusts as real estate investment vehicles in New England through complex and politically challenging litigation, including an appearance before the First Circuit Court of Appeals. His 1990 publication, Personal Bankruptcy for Individuals: Honest Debtors Getting a Fresh Start, was recommended by the Wall Street Journal.

Attorney Ladd received his law degree at New York Law School, following a liberal arts degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. For a period of three years between college and law school, he worked in both the business and admission departments of Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, and later as a West Village townhouse property manager and free lance creator of successful multi-million dollar mortgage acquisition proposals for private investment individuals seeking to convert SoHo industrial buildings into residential Cooperatives. He is admitted to practice in all New Hampshire State Courts, Federal District Court of Concord, NH, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals of Boston, MA.
